INFORMATION

The Third National Forum of Project Management is a joint initiative of the three PMI Italy Chapters (PMI Northern Italy Chapter, PMI Central Italy Chapter, PMI Southern Italy Chapter) to promote project management culture all over the national territory.

After Florence and Naples, Milan will have the honour to host the third edition of the Forum, RE-Think! #project #sustainAbility #future, in the year of the 50th anniversary of the Project Management Institute’s foundation. An anniversary that celebrates the hard work of all professionals and organisations that have made their projects benchmarks for development and growth.

By hosting the 3rd National Forum of Project Management, the PMI-NIC chose to continue its tradition of researching innovative subjects for project management by proposing a current discourse that is somewhat unexplored in Italian projects: Sustainability*.

A transversal theme that encloses and aptly represents the best practices of project management (#project), from specific competences (#sustainAbility) to an innovative drive (#future). This theme will be explored taking inspiration from the 17 Sustainability Objectives defined by the United Nations (SDG**), bringing back the 4 natural elements (#air, #earth, #water, #fire) united with “Ingenuity” as a distinctive element for a sustainable relationship between human beings and the environment on the long-term.

The best practices for sustainable project management will be at the core of this third edition of the Forum, accompanied and enriched by miriads of initiatives to develop a profound cultural discussion with the industry, academia and society in Italy.
