HOW TO REACH US
By train / metro
Effective from the 15th July 2019, a new Integrated Fare System (STIBM) will come into force replacing the previous Integrated Fare System of the Milanese Area (SITAM). The new system extends to all municipals within the City of Milan metropolitan area and the Province of Monza and Brianza.
From Stazione Milano Centrale (railway station): take the underground Line M2 (Green) towards ASSAGO FORUM/ABBIATEGRASSO for 5 stops and get off at CADORNA FN Triennale M2 to change the underground line to Line M1 (Red) to RHO-FIERAMILANO. Alternatively, from Stazione Centrale Railway Station it is also possible to take Undergound Line M3 (Yellow) towards SAN DONATO and change at DUOMO to Line M1 (Red) to RHO-FIERAMILANO.
Once in Line M1 (Red) heading towards RHO-FIERAMILANO, you have two options:
Option 1) get off at Molino Dorino station and walk towards the location of the event for about 1,2 km (15 minutes walk). Total trip duration from Milan Central Station roughly 45 minutes;
Option 2) get off at Pero station and walk towards the location of the event for about 0,7 km (10 minutes walk). Total trip duration from Milan Central Station roughly 41 minutes;
The new Integrated Fare System (STIBM) uses the City of Milan as the reference point where surrounding areas have then been divided into circular sections each representing a fare zone. The above mentioned stations belongs to Area Mi3.
The fare between two locations, i.e. the starting point and the destination of the journey, is calculated on the basis of the number of zones travelled (increasing in value with each additional zone travelled).
In Milan, the minimum fare that can be purchased is 3 fare zones (Mi1 – Mi3) and its cost is 2.00 €. In all other municipalities of the System, the minimum fare that can be purchased is equal to 2 zones and costs the same as the minimum fare ticket price (€1.60). This ticket also applies for journeys within the same municipal and between municipals belonging to the same fare zone. For each additional zone the cost of the ticket increases by €0.40, therefore the 3 zone ticket costs €2.00, the 4 zone ticket €2.40 etc.
From Milano Linate airport (LIN): Milan Linate airport will be out of service from 27/07/19 to 27/10/19, see https://goo.gl/TaYpm9. The flights will be redirected to Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Bergamo (BGY).
From Milan Malpensa airport (MXP) – Terminal 1 and 2: you can either take the airport shuttle to Milano Centrale (train station) or Milano Cadorna FN. Then follow the instructions above to arrive by train/metro. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
From Bergamo airport (BGY): take the airport shuttle to Milano Centrale (train station), then follow up the previous instructions to arrive by train/metro. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The venue has a limited number of parking places available because during the same time of the Forum there is another big event in the area; we kindly suggest you to use one of the parking areas available nearby (see https://goo.gl/W7V4Pd).
Note: even if the venue is not in a traffic limited area, the city of Milan has two limited traffic zones (ZTL) called Area B and Area C. Starting from October 1, 2019, new car restrictions will be put in place (see https://goo.gl/mDzSEY).
